Fay Hield
Fay has a rich and unadorned voice, perfect for her chosen genre of traditional song. Her debut album - Looking Glass - released in 2010 was a huge success, earning her many accolades and a nomination for the Horizon Award at that year's BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.
Alongside her music career Fay also runs two folk clubs with her partner Jon Boden, and is an academic - lecturing in ethnomusicology at the University of Sheffield.
