Cool and swish Tommy Sand goes rockin' through no less than 33 of his hottest tracks from the late '50s and early '60s.

Tommy's clean cut image (like Ricky Nelson) belied his ability to turn out quality, authentic white rock'n'roll, rockabilly and R&B. That is the emphasis of this stylish package of sides recorded with his bands the Raiders and the Sharks plus some of Los Angeles' hottest studio players.

Managed for a time by Colonel Tom Parker, the good looking Sands ignited true teen hysteria in the US with hits like "Teenage Crush" (a US #2), "Goin' Steady", "Bigger Than Texas" and "The Worryin' Kind", the albums Steady Date and Sandstorm, and his leading role in the movie 'Sing Boy Sing'.

This collection includes rare single and LP cuts on CD for the first time, informative liner notes and a stack of period photos.
