Description
Country music star Joe Diffie returns to his bluegrass roots on Homecoming: The Bluegrass Album. In addition to his twelve #1 country hits, twenty top 10 country albums, four gold and platinum albums, Joe's songs have been recorded by names you may recognize like Tim McGraw, Conway Twitty and Jo Dee Messina. Joe was first exposed to bluegrass music by his father and this became the genre that began his career with the group Special Edition. After working in the Gibson guitar plant, writing some songs for other artists and being an in demand session vocalist, he became country music sensation in the 90's by making more than a half dozen releases for Sony. For Homecoming: The Bluegrass Album, Diffie recorded at the famous Oceanway Studios in Nashville. The album was co-producer Luke Wooten and includes a host of top bluegrass musicians including The Grascals, Rhonda Vincent, Bradley Walker and Alecia Nugent. -
