    King's modern style, which combined rock & roll and R&B with the jump blues, was fully developed by the time of this releases, later becoming a source of inspiration and influence on other guitarist, including Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Mark Knopfler, to name just a few who have credited King as a major influencer on their own playing.
