SPECIMEN EP is the first release from Follow The Moths.A letter from AAZ Records:
"Dear World. AAZ Records here. We were sent a demo CD by post. It seemed to be from a group of four men. They didn't tell us much and don't seem to do phone or email much either. Apparently all British but living in Australia. It seems to be dusty and quite remote where they come from. They mentioned regretted pasts, time passing and a large touring camper van. Sounded like they visit regional dusty halls playing whatever music they think will go down well but much prefer to play their own music. We liked what they sent. It reminded us (in a good way) of British indie circa 1980s. We sent them a small amount of money. They sent us some recordings back a few weeks later. And here they are. 4 tracks that sounds like they're from a number of different singers and songwriters. They have a live sounding drum kit and sometimes crunchy sounding guitars and we think we heard the creak of an old floorboard somewhere. Let us know if you bump into them. Or let us know what you think and we'll try to pass it on."
