Lauded by the critics for her first Schubert album in 2013, Janina Fialkowska returns to the Viennese composer’s music with performances of his Four Impromptus, Op. 142, D.935 and the Piano Sonata No. 7 in E flat major, Op. 122, D. 568.
To mark her 65th birthday, in 2016 Janina Fialkowska will embark on a major Birthday Celebration concert tour that begins begin in Edmonton in March, and will end with several UK concerts, including two concerts in London, concerts in Belfast, Nottingham and at the prestigious Cheltenham Festival.
A BBC Music Magazine Award winner, her last release of Grieg's Lyric Piano Works was universally critically acclaimed and we are delighted to see this next release from this immensely talented pianist.
