Tommy Fleming has been cultivating his own unique brand of the traditional troubadour since touring worldwide with Phil Coulter and, later, De Dannan in the early 90s. Mixing epic interpretations of songbook favourites with Irish folk ballads has been the trademark of Fleming's solo repertoire and this has brought him full force into mainstream favour along a similar path to Alfie Boe, Andrea Bocelli, Russell Watson, Michael Ball and other contemporaries.'All I Can' is best described as a comprehensive introduction to the essence of Tommy Fleming's unique ability to fire an emotional arrow direct to the heart of those with an affinity to, not only outstanding vocal ability, but also defiance and patriotic romance.
Hints of flute, pipes and fiddle and the inclusion of Black Is The Colour, Song For Ireland and Carrickfergus make this record firmly Irish, however Fleming's take on Be All You Can Be and a particularly powerful rendition of Labi Siffre's Something Inside So Strong lift the overall affect to cross international borders.
