    22 tracks recorded in Pennsylvania in Jan/Feb 2001 by the Italian master fiddle player, sometime banjoist and violin maker/restorer, who relocated to the USA in the mid '80s to persue his keen interest in the southern US's old-time music scene. Here he uses three different fiddles, one modern and two vintage, and is accompanied by family and friends on banjos, ukuleles and guitars. The repertoire consists of Stefanini's arrangements of traditional tunes from the Virginias, the Carolinas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas, Kentucky and Arizona.
