Carpathian Forest from Norway formed in 1990. They began their recording career with the cult demo 'Bloodlust & Perversion' in 1992. Since then the band has recorded multiple albums and are known as one of the elite bands to emerge from Scandinavia in the 1990â€™s.

Originally released back in 2002, â€˜Weâ€™re Going to Hell for Thisâ€™ consists of band rarities, featuring unreleased material spanning back to the prolific 90â€™s with Carpathian Forest's punishing brand of hate-fuelled old school black metal; also including demo tracks, and cover-versions of classics by the likes of Darkthrone, Discharge and Venom. Features mainman & sadistic mastermind Nattefrost, along with Vrangsinn, plus Anders Kobro (In the Woods...), & Tchort on bass (Emperor, Green Carnation).

Carpathian Forest from Norway formed in 1990 & began their recording career with the cult demo 'Bloodlust & Perversion' in 1992 as the "second wave of black metal" was started to rise to prominence. Throughout the following three decades, Carpathian Forest has successfully forged a legacy spanning a multitude of revered studio albums, whilst being renowned as a fierce, if unpredictable, live act. The band features mainman Nattefrost, who enjoyed a successful solo career, alongside his main band. Tchort also features on bass, a familiar name from his previous work with Emperor's debut album & more diverse acts such as Green Carnation.
Originally released back in 2002, 'We're Going To Hell For This' is a compilation of rarities featuring unreleased material spanning 1992-2001 from these classy old-school black metallers; also including live tracks, demo tracks & cover versions of classics by the likes of Darkthrone, Discharge & Venom. The live tracks featured here were recorded in Switzerland & also at the famous Inferno festival in Norway & contain a good selection of Carpathian live carnage.
