Description
Winners of a Danny Award at Celtic Connections in 1999, Malinky went on to tour widely and to become regarded as one of Scotland's premier instrumental/vocal outfits. On this, their third album for Greentrax, the lineup has undergone a couple of changes - Karine Polwart moving on to be replaced by the outstanding young singer Fiona Hunter, while Leo McCann drops out and is replaced by Ewan MacPherson (mandolin, mandola, guitar and vocals). Jon Bews, Steve Byrne and Mark Dunlop continue to be key members of the lineup. -
