Kevin Dempsey & Rosie Carson are a virtuoso duo from the Coventry , UK and Cincinnati, USA. Separated by the Atlantic Ocean, and coming from different generations, they have contrasting backgrounds and lives. However they each bring a freshness and depth of understanding to their music. This makes their performances unique and very entertaining. Kevin & Rosie have released two excellent CD's (The Salty Diamond & Between the Distance) and they have a new CD Night Birds,  to be released 2016. Kevin Dempsey is a master performer on the guitar, an arranger, a singer and a top quality live entertainer. He's played and recorded with many of the most famous names in acoustic and folk music: Dave Swarbrick, Joe Broughton, Chris Leslie, Peter Knight, Dando Shaft, Uiscedwr, Whippersnapper, and Mary Black. Rosie Carson is a singer and fiddle player. She has amazing musical versatility and a fine singing voice. She trained with some of the world's top folk musicians, including Seamus Connelly, Liz Carroll, Liz Kane, and Oisin Mac Diarmada. She has won national competitions for both fiddle and voice, & has played with many other well-known performers in the folk and acoustic world, including members of Fairport Convention.  -
