Slipstream released on limited edition 10 vinyl and as a special digital download EP featuring Fear Not Victorious, No Ceremony, The Colour of Madness and Punk, the latest single to follow up to the recent No Ceremony release which was awarded XFM Record Of The Week by Dave Rowntree of Blur, and secured Tracks Of The Day on Q and Clash.
Fishers lyrics are reminiscent of Patti Smith and the poetic stride of Nick Cave or Leonard Cohen. Her voice is deep, intimate and curiously defiant " it comes as no surprise that most of her musical heroes are mavericks.
Following high profile shows at Secret Garden Party, Latitude, Liverpool Sound City and as a guest of Neil Young at his Hyde Park show in the Summer, Hero is no stranger to Hyde Park after playing her debut gig there supporting The Rolling Stones, Hero and her band will play the following shows to coincide with the single release.
