Plu (Welsh for Feathers) the sibling trio from Snowdonia, North Wales made up of sisters Elan, Marged and brother Gwilym Rhys present their first album of children's songs Holl Anifeiliaid y Goedwig (All the Animals of the Forest) Their harmony-laden songs backed by acoustic guitar, melodica, piano and accordion lend themselves exceptionally well to present their new take on traditional songs for children as were as original and new versions of animal themed songs. Their laid back, seemingly effortless style and self-penned animal sound effects add an unique feature to this CD and breathes a new life into sounds that have been passed down to them as children through the generations. Children of all ages will enjoy this album and will be able to sing-a-long with many of the songs, but it's not just an album for children, as adults will also be able to join in as many songs will be familiar to them having sung them as children themselves. An illustrated lyric booklet from included with the CD. -
