Description
Born in Crowley, Louisiana in 1958, Toups is of the relatively younger generation of Cajun musicians, renowned for his dynamic stage act and a style of playing that incorporates influences such as rock, soul and R&B as well as traditional Acadian music. This is his first new album in nearly four years, a long overdue follow-up to LITTLE WOODEN BOX (SHANCD9024). It features tracks written by top hit-making songwriters from Nashville and Louisiana.
