With 'front porch swing' it's three musicians showing exactly why they are regarded as one of the best live bands in the country. Once upon a time an album like this would have had 'unplugged' somewhere in the title. It's just another side to the Spikedrivers, an intimate, acoustic take on some favourite standards and their own songs for a live audience. Recorded, as always, by the sound master Phill Brown. A complete concert on two discs. No tricks, no overdubs, just real music played from the heart. -
