Kscope releasing brand new studio album from UK based, Mercury Prize Nominated experimental art rockers Sweet Billy Pilgrim Kscope's most recent signing, the UK's unsung heroes of experimental art rock Sweet Billy Pilgrim, release their label debut & fourth album Motorcade Amnesiacs on 25th May. Motorcade Amnesiacs follows on from their critically acclaimed album 'Crown and Treaty', which was awarded a coveted five stars by Mojo and featured as Album Of The Week in The Sunday Times and its Mercury Music Prize-nominated predecessor 'Twice Born Men' released on David Sylvian's Samadhi Sound label. Not ones to respect musical boundaries, Sweet Billy Pilgrim have thrown every ounce of their belief and passion into the genre spanning excellence of 'Motorcade Amnesiacs', an album of adventurously inspired melodies, intertwining riffs and eclectic rhythms, heavenly harmonies and thought-provoking lyrics. The first radio single on 18th May 'Just Above Midtown' sees the band fuse their pop sensibilities with swaggering rock groove. 'Longstreth' showcases guitarist & songwriter Tim Elsenburg's dynamic song writing ability, mixing beautiful harmonies with pounding guitar riffs, the groove-led 'We Just Did What Happened And Nobody Came' lodges firmly in the memory long after it ends and 'Tyrekickers', revels in co-vocalist Jana Carpenters heart-worn tones. They have been confirmed to play at this year's Desertfest in London on April 25th with more dates to be announced soon.
