The LPs included are: 'Twist With The Ventures'; 'The Ventures' Twist Party Vol.2'; 'Mashed Potatoes And Gravy'; 'Going to The Ventures' Dance Party' and 'The Ventures Play Telstar and the Lonely Bull'.
Also includes a rare radio promo spot for their Twist Party Vol.2 LP.
The late 50s/early 60s were the "Golden Era" for R&R instrumentals, and as the first guitar-driven instrumental group their influence was immeasurable, providing the template for The Shadows and just about every other group who followed.
They still enjoy enormous international popularity, notably in Japan & the Far East, where they continue to tour and record. Their current line-up includes the group's founder, Don Wilson, and long-time member Nokie Edwards - this duo were The Ventures' lead guitarists during their Glory years.
