    Limited 180gm gold colored vinyl LP pressing. Inner sleeve and jacket include many images of the Notre Dame campus and football team and a note from Rudy himself. Original Motion Picture Soundtrack composed by Jerry Goldsmith, issued for the first time ever on heavyweight vinyl. Notre Dame is the most popular football team in America with an exclusive NBC broadcast deal. The album releases on the first weekend of the 2016 season. Widely considered one of the best scores ever for a sports film, the music was composed for the screen by the legendary Jerry Goldsmith. The CD version of Rudy has sold 150K units since it's original release.

    Description

    Rudy grew up in a steel mill town where most people ended up working, but wanted to play football at Notre Dame instead. There were only a couple of problems. His grades were a little low, his athletic skills were poor, and he was only half the size of the other players. But he had the drive and the spirit of 5 people and has set his sights upon joining the team.

    What can be said that hasn't been said about this monumental score by Jerry Goldsmith? Timeless, historic, emotional, rousing are just a few words that come to mind.
