  • Description

Sepia celebrates the centenary of Britain's "Sweetheart of Song" Vera Lynn with this release of sing-along happy melodies mostly associated with her, well-known melodies such as "We'll Meet Again" and "The White Cliffs of Dover".

During WW2, Vera's voice was the link between tens of thousands of Servicemen and women and their loved ones at home. Tracks 1 - 16 were recorded in 1960 in stereo. The remainder tracks Vera recorded in the 1950s and most are appearing on CD for the first time.
