Canned Music

Last year Pearl & The Oyster's first LP was a great suprise. After touring in USA (Florida, California), Joachim Polack and Juliette Pearl Davis, the french-american duo behind Pearl & The Oysters are back on Croque Macadam with their second album « Canned Music ». Still a treasure of odball and cute melodies, the band define even more their previous statement : unrestricted pop music in the great tradition of Todd Rundgren or ELO with hints of groove and soul music. On « Canned Music » they called a lot of their friends from France and America including Cory Wong (regular contributor of Vulfpeck) and Alex Brettin, Mild High Club's guitarist for a great solo on « Mermaid Parade ».
