The pieces presented on the album constitute a monographic album featuring works by Jean Francaix (1912–1997), for the first time recorded exclusively by Polish instrumentalists.
Each time, the musical language of the French composer seems to remain faithful to the idea of the need to bring joy and pleasure to the ones communing with his music. Karolina Stalmachowska, a recognized Polish oboist, invited the most sought-after Polish musicians to a chamber cooperation on the present album. Therefore, this album is not a documentation of the composer's chamber music, but an excellent interpretive medium to get to know his output.
