This is the follow up album to Eilis' multi award winning release of 2001, 'Time to Sail', which won Best Female Vocal of the Year on www.liveireland.com. Recorded in her home county of Kerry, "where music is part of the landscape", and mixed and mastered in Barry Phillips' studio in California, this is a much more tradition-based release than 'Time to Sail'. Breathtaking vocals adorn classic reading of sean nos favourites and contemporary songs from Bob Dylan, and the heartbreaking "The Parting Song" from John Goodenough, which will become a firm radio favourite. Again Eilis (pronounced Aylish) is accompanied by the cream of Irish musicianship, Paddy Keenan (uilleann pipes), William Coulter (guitar), Jon Sanders (mandolin/bass), Tommy O'Sullivan (guitar), Tony Gelding (fiddle), Maura Breatnach (viola), Tim Edey (guitar/box), Barry Phillips (cello) and Steve White (percussion). It would appear that it is destined to win as many plaudits and awards as 'Time to Sail': already top American music journalist, Bill Margeson, has named Eilis his vocalist of the year. Tracks: Go From My Window / Aillilliú na Gamhna / A Ógánaigh an Chúil Chraobhaigh / Boots Of Spanish Leather / Helen Of Kirkonnell / Farewell To Tarivathie / An Páistín Fionn / Suil A Rúin / Beauty Deas an Oileáin / The Parting Song.
