City Jazz (MQA-CD)
Band leader Kriz Bobbyda is a composer, arranger, conductor, music director and record producer with a strong sales history in the past across Hong Kong, Taiwan and China. He has also done numerous film soundtracks. His film work includes Dragon Force which was released in 1982, Happy Sixteen also released in 1982, Armour of God II: Operation Condor which was released in 1991, C'est la vie, mon chéri which was released in 1993 and Bishonen which was released in 1998. He has produced albums for Andy Bautista, Sam Sorono and Mona Richardson. At the 15th Hong Kong Film Awards he won an award in the Best Original Film Score category for The Phantom Lover.
Drummer Huang Tzu Yu (Fish) is from Taiwan, former band member of Taiwanese popular band 20843; 19977; 22829; 831, a band with strong sales history in Hong Kong and Taiwan. He is also the current drummer of R.O.O.T. the band which won the silver award of Ultimate Song Chart Awards Presentation in Hong Kong. Huang is now a Hong Kong based drummer and an active musician who is easily found in major music festivals and concerts across Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and South-East Asia. Besides recording albums for himself and other musicians, he has emerged as a jazz musician and made himself relevant in jazz in the past few years. Huang was also dubbed as the Best Drummer of Yamaha Asian Beat Grand Final, and started his career in the entertainment industry with a contract signed with B'in Music in 2012. He is currently an endorser for Canopus Drums & Meinl Cymbals.
