MAMA’s Crow Coyote Buffalo brings together the polar pairing of 90s pop star Zoë Pollock, who landed a Top 5 hit with Brit-nominated club anthem Sunshine on a Rainy Day, and American-born trad-folk artist Sarah McQuaid. The two are now neighbours in rural West Cornwall, where their debut CD was recorded. This is a “world� album in every sense, with 10 tracks co-written by the pair. Zoë’s first album in 12 years, it’s a curiously offbeat, retro blend of textures and rhythms from the many countries she’s lived in since she fled the pop scene.
