Description
Since 2005, highly acclaimed singer/songwriters Johnny Coppin & Mike Silver have been wowing audiences working together as a duo. This is their long awaited debut album.
Aside from featuring some of Johnny and Mike’s more well-known individual songs, they make their debut as a songwriting team with "‘We Had it All", "This Heart Sings" (a tribute to Sylvie Smith) and "Survival". Although their singing and styles are very different, the two voices are a natural mix and the way they share their songs and the performance and delivery of them, shows this to be a duo in the truest sense. This is a ‘live in the studio’ recording and the result is a brilliant ‘what you hear is what you get’.
“Two great writers, two superb voices, three co-written new songs: one huge hit and a sublime Karine Polwart song as well. How many whammies is that? This is a very special album. - Ralph McTell.
“An album of soaring harmonies and beautifully crafted songs from two of this country’s finest singer songwriters.- Steve Knightley.
