Canada's musical ambassadors, Gordie MacKeeman and His Rhythm Boys are set to release their third studio recording, 'Laugh, Dance & Sing'.

'Laugh, Dance & Sing' features 13 original songs and traditional arrangements that excel in demonstrating the groups high-energy flair and outstanding musicianship, offering up rockabilly-inspired rhythms and upbeat reels polished by MacKeeman's stunning fiddle work. It offers a refreshing mix of traditional-leaning ideas, and modern influences infused with elements of roots, folk, bluegrass, western swing, Celtic, and hints of Scottish country dance.

Hailing from Prince Edward Island, Gordie MacKeeman and His Rhythm Boys are literally taking the world by storm entertaining audiences across Canada, the U.S., the U.K., Ireland, Belgium, Malaysia and Australia. The group's success has earned them a multitude of awards and rave reviews from audiences and media around the world. They have toured extensively throughout the U.K. and have performed at the legendary Glastonbury Festival, Celtic Connections, WOMAD, Shrewsbury Folk Festival and the Orkney Folk Festival to name a few.

With a rollicking rhythm and roots sound, flashes of flair and fancy footwork, and a blatant disregard for physics, Gordie MacKeeman and His Rhythm Boys deliver the ultimate experience filled with high-energy electrifying entertainment. With a slight bend of his knee, Gordie MacKeeman launches into a song. Guided by the sharp cuts of his fiddle, his famous crazy legs shake and twist with a laughing regard for physics. The whole time The Rhythm Boys' (Peter Cann, Mark Geddes and Thomas Webb) deliver surefooted roots instrumentation to accompany the spectacle.

"This band is a real breath of fresh air and fun. Given the generic 'roots' label, there are heavy influences of bluegrass, western swing, Celtic and even Scottish country dance music in here. It all adds up to a mighty fine package." - Maverick Magazine

"Gordie and the Boys are great players, sharp songwriters, invigorating company...not to mention the nifty dancing. Frankly, what's not to like?" - Mark Radcliffe, BBC Radio 2
