As before the songs are varied and not too well known, and the main arranging duties are carried out by tenor sax man Frank Griffith. There are two Duncan Lamont originals and arrangements with strings. On four tracks there is a string quartet backing the rhythm section of Dave Green, John Pearce and Winston Clifford. Duncan Lamont also guest solos on his original "Where Were You In April" and trumpeter Janusz Carmello has solo space on "S'posin "and "I'm Through with Love."
