    Gee Hye Lee travelled from South Korea to Germany to study classical piano but after finishing her course jazz became her passion via Monday night jam sessions held at Kiste, a club in Stuttgart. Her splendid new CD celebrates this regular event and sees the pianist joined by some 38 musicians from the locality, most of whom have played at the club with her. The venue for the recording was none other than the legendary Musikproduktion Schwarzwald Studio in Villingen. This location gave Lee the opportunity to perform on the original Bosendorfer piano that Oscar Peterson, Monty Alexander and others had played in their MPS days and successfully captures the spirited and highly creative atmosphere of the nights at Kiste.
