Conor Coughlan is a 19 year old British singer-songwriter who grew up in small town Saskatoon, Canada (home of Joni Mitchell). He has a story to tell and a sound of his own.

Born in Essex, Conor was raised in a musical family. His Dad, being an avid music fan, brought Conor up on a steady diet of Neil Young, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen - all the greats. At the tender age of 4, Conor would watch his idols' video tapes and imitate their every move with a tennis racket as a guitar.

It was at the age of 9 when Conor walked into his Dad's bedroom begging him to teach him how to play the guitar. After only a few months of playing, Coughlan had already began writing his own songs and going to his parents to ask for their opinions. In late 2008 the Coughlan family emigrated to Saskatoon, Canada. It was there that Conor's musical journey would really begin. At the age of 14 Conor decided to start a band and began performing in the local bars in his city and eventually in prestigious venues on the west coast.

It was early 2014 when Conor and Ricky stumbled upon Fantasy Studios where studio manager Jeffrey Wood proposed that an album should be cut at Fantasy with him producing. Coughlan grabbed the opportunity with open arms and by November 2014 was recording his debut album 'Give It Up' at the age of 18. Many great musicians played on the album, such as Dawn Richardson and Paul Olguin (regular players with Tracy Chapman) but it's the soul and passion of Conor's singular voice that shines through on this startling debut.
