If you’re even remotely aware of the underground UK Hardcore scene you will have heard of Renounced. Making sizeable waves since their debut ‘The Melancholy We Ache’ and casting themselves into UK Metalcore history with their sophomore record ‘Theories Of Despair’ (originally released by Carry The Weight Records) - Renounced are on somewhat of an unstoppable path. For those unfamiliar with the band think early 00’s metalcore in the vein of 7 Angels 7 Plagues, Misery Signals, Undying and Skycamefalling with a modern, progressive sheen. Sadly, with the demise of Carry The Weight Records, and ‘Theories of Despair’ going out of print we were more than happy to to step in and help continue the legacy of one of the UK’s leading lights.. ‘Theories Of Despair’ will be reissued to coincide with the band’s forthcoming UK and European tour with Stray From The Path and Capsize…..not one to be missed.
