Esprit De Four

'Esprit De Four' by the leading jazz fusion band Fourplay is the second release to feature new member, guitarist Chuck Loeb, who has joined founder-members keyboardist Bob James, bassist Nathan East and drummer Harvey Mason. They deliver another stylish album where straightahead, fusion and smooth jazz meet. Each member of the band contributes at least two compositions to the album and one of the standout tracks is the Bob James composition "Put Our Hearts Together" which he wrote for a concert in a region severely impacted by the devastating Japanese tsunami of 2011. It appears as both an instrumental and vocal version on the CD with Japanese pop star Seiko Matsuda lending her voice to this moving tribute.
