As the follow up to 'All By Hisself: Live At The Lonestar' (volume one of "The Rebennack Chronicles"), this latest release presents an entirely different side of Dr John. Performing on the biggest night of the year in his hometown, the music is high octane and pure energy. Mac rips through a set of big beat, funk-laden Dr John classics. It's a treasure for Dr John fans and a wonderful document of the impact New Orleans' culture has on American music to this day. -
