Little Things Mean A Lot: Great Hits Of The Fifties

Although Enoch Light never aspired to the heights of fame of, say, Glenn Miller, he nevertheless had a long career as an orchestra leader and record company executive. He was recording as early as 1927 but he really came into his own when he started the Command label in 1959 to promote stereo records. This fine Jasmine compliation has Light covering the greatest hits from the year 1954, with quality vocals and in particular whistler Fred Lowery re-creating his hit recording of "The High And The Mighty". 22 tracks, over one hour playing time.
