Towering over Country music, and providing s link between Jimmie Rodgers and the modern sound, is Ernest Tubb. He began recording in 1936, joined the "Grand Ole Opry" in 1943 and opened his famous Nashville record shop in 1947. This new 25-track Jasmine collection features Tubb at the peak of his popularity in the 50's and includes many of the best-known songs like "I'm Walking The Floor Over You" and "Answer The Phone".
