    One of Country music's real legends, Bob Wills was the "Father" of Western Swing, his band a maximum crowd puller everywhere it played with an unpredictably exciting stage show. He employed only the best of musicians andwas known for never playing the same tune in exactly the same way twice. He wasn't afraid to experiment and incorporated any aspect of Jazz and Popular music of the period into his repertoire.

    This 25 track compilation of studio recordings confirms what a stomping band it was, designed to keep the dancers on the floor at any gig. Tommy Duncan is heavily featured on vocals, Wills himself is ever-present with encouragement.
