Guitarist Yotam, who is rapidly becoming recognised as an important new voice in jazz guitar, interprets some of Brazil's greatest composers. Supporting him is a stellar cast of guest musicians including Roy Hargrove on flugelhorn, guitarist Toninho Horta, trumpeter Claudio Roditi and clarinettist Paquito D'Rivera. They perform music by Edu Lobo, Chico Buarque, and Tom Jobim and the lineup is completed with two of Brazil's brightest stars, pianist David Feldman and percussionist Vanderlei Pereira plus Jazz Legacy label boss, John Lee, on acoustic bass guitar. Born in Israel and now resident in New York City, Yotam has played in many of that city's leading venues with great jazz artists like James Moody, Benny Golson, Curtis Fuller, Louis Hayes, Jimmy Heath, Frank Wess, Junior Mance, Pat Martino, Slide Hampton and the Dizzy Gillespie Alumni All-Stars.
