Crazy Saints - Live

Master drummer/percussionist Trilok Gurtu released the hugely popular studio album 'Crazy Saints' in 1993, which featured the talents of Pat Metheny and Joe Zawinul. In the same year Trilok Gurtu went on tour with his trio of Daniel Goyone on keyboards and Chris Minh Doky on bass, to support the album. This remarkable concert in Bremen has been previously unreleased until now. The combination of Indian rhythms, with elements of modern jazz led to extraordinary music, impressively documented on this recording. Trilok Gurtu's peerless grooves, precise, virtuosic and punchy drumming, blended perfectly with his trio, as they perform music from the album plus other compositions.
