The term, 'singer songwriter', is a somewhat over-used and broadly sweeping term that tends to be used to describe almost every type of performer. Logan Wilson's music is tender and evocative, moving in between many styles yet always retaining a firm essence of itself. Lyrically there is plenty to grab hold of and its turning rhymes and often intricate melodies contain an easy simplicity that truly captivates. The songs themselves speak very much of a man trying to get through life and all its little tribulations, from deeply intimate situations to anecdotal observations of the way society rolls along.
