Curtis Salgado, the man credited by John Belushi as the inspiration for The Blues Brothers, is one of the finest soul/blues singers on the scene today, having been vocalist/harp player with Robert Cray, Santana and Room Full Of Blues as well as having a successful solo career.
This is Curtis' "comeback" album after surviving a bout with liver cancer and receiving tremendous support and publicity with benefit concerts featuring Taj Mahal, Robert Cray, Bonnie Raitt and many others. Recorded with The Phantom Blues Band, noted for their work with Taj Mahal, the album is a powerful set of original songs plus sublime covers such as Al Green's ?Let's Get Married?.
