Dick Gaughan remains one of the most highly respected folk singers in the United Kingdom. He is also one of the most sought-after artists and commits himself to gruelling tours, both in the UK and abroad, particularly North America and Australia. Dick has been appearing at The Trades Club, Hebden Bridge in North Yorkshire for years and it is always his last gig in his November/December tour of the UK. It is not a folk club and the organisers also put on rock gigs and standup comedy. Dick always gets the 'House Full' notice and he absolutely loves this gig, which is conveyed in the recording.
