Description

20 Electric Westside Chicago classics including 'Double Trouble', 'All Your Love' and 'I Can't Quit You Babe'.

Otis Rush was born in Philadelphia and began playing guitar at the age of 8. At the age of 14 he moved to Chicago, where he first saw Muddy Waters and decided to become a performer.

In Chicago he came to prominence as an architect of the 'West Side Sound' and recorded for the legendary Cobra, Chess and Duke labels. His intense, soulful trademark sound influenced countless other musicians including Michael Bloomfield, Eric Clapton, Santana, Jeff Beck and Stevie Ray Vaughn.

Double Trouble features 20 of the classic tracks that he recorded between 1956 and 1960, including Double Trouble, My Love Will Never Die, Three Times a Fool, Keep on Loving Me Baby, All Your Love (I Miss Loving) and So Many Roads, So Many Trains.
