Description

A tremendous big band album from The Royal Air Force Squadronaires with featured vocalist Scottish swing singer Todd Gordon and special guests in aid of the British charity, Help for Heroes. It is also a celebration of the centenary of the RAF - formed in 1912 as the Royal Flying Corps and becoming the Royal Air Force six years later. An ideal CD for the yearly Rememberance Day events.

The reinforcements on these recordings are: Jacqui Dankworth, Horse, Carol Kidd, Eddi Reader, Janet Seidel, The Swingcats and Clare Teal. The repertoire includes classic written by the likes of Cole Porter, Rodgers and Hart, Irving Berlin and George and Ira Gershwin.
