Description
Alva are Vivien Ellis (voice, hurdy-gurdy) and Giles Lewin (fiddle, flute, voice). Spanning the worlds of folk and early music, both have toured widely in Europe, America and Australia. Vivien has one of the great female voices of the present day and is well known for her work with Sinfonye and The Dufay Collective. Giles is a founding member of the Dufay Collective as well being known for his work with The Carnival Band and the Irish group After Hours. -
