KINTAL DA BANDA, Bonga's new album of unreleased songs, brings you back to the experiences that shaped his journey and ignites in your memory today the same flame that he carried with him on stage in the unique moments of his countless concerts. At 23, under the scorching heat of the musseques of Luanda, the child Zeca has already absorbed the tonic Kamundongo in the composition and interpretation of traditional folklore, the semba, which he will perform on stages all over the world! He founded the group Kissueia and took part in many other projects, but it was within Kintais that he lived intensely the deep musical culture of the time and acquired the unique identity that he developed while throughout a career that has totaled more than 400 songs and which is on the verge of reaching its 50th anniversaryOn "Kudia Kuetu", the first single from the duet album with French singer Camélia Jordana, Bonga underlines the importance of traditional gastronomy as an appreciation of the essence of Angolan roots. Recorded between Lisbon and Paris, Kintal Da Banda, edited by LUSAFRICA, is produced by the excellent guitarist Betinho Feijó, the musical director who has accompanied him for 28 years.
