Description
Collegium Mundi Novi, together with their director R Ryan Endris, perform premiere recordings of choral works by Antonio Juanas.
Although it is not certain, Antonio Juanas (1755-1818) is believed to have been born in Spain, but his most of his musical career was in Mexico City, where he became maestro de capilla from c.1793. He remains largely unknown, although he was one of the most prolific composers of his time in the New World.
