Quintet led by award winning trumpeter/composer Dave Scott, performing six original compositions written by Scott. His group includes saxophonist Rich Perry, pianist Gary Versace and bassist John Hébert.Scott started his professional career in L.A. after graduating from University of Southern California. His penchant for performing and composing for the standard/classical quintet format was obvious already from the earlier stage. The Dave Scott Quintet here is the original group consisting of some of the finest instrumentalists Dave formed when he first moved to New York in 2000.
