Award-winning Italian composer Pierluigi Billone presents two major works:
First, the string trio "Mani. Giacometti", performed by the Distractfold ensemble.
Secondly, "2 Alberi", performed by the scapegoat ensemble, is part of a series that combines instruments in new ways, in this case alto saxophone and percussion.
This is Billone's sixth KAIROS recording, featuring two of his comparatively shorter works.
