Dr Faustus combines the talents of Tim van Eyken (from Waterson-Carthy), Rob Harbron (from English Acoustic Collective), Benji Kirkpatrick (established as a solo performer) and Paul Sartin (formerly with Belshazzar's Feast). Benji and Paul are also part of the multi award winning, Spires & Boden big band, Bellowhead.
They are back with a stunning follow-up to their highly acclaimed debut CD showing that they are not afraid to tackle demanding material with complex vocal and instrument arrangements. The CD reveals a shift of emphasis onto much more vocal work, particularly harmonies, which makes them almost unique on the English Folk Scene. -
