  • Description

Driving Mrs. Satan is a four-member, English-language indie folk/indie pop band from Napoli, Italy, formed in 2012.    The members are lead singer Claudia Sorvillo, double bassist and producer Giacomo Pedicini, co-singer-guitarist Valerio Middione and drummer-multi instrumentalist Antonio Esposito.   In 2013, Driving Mrs. Satan released an EP including 4 indie folk pop versions of heavy metal classics "I Want Out", "Hells Bells", "Living After Midnight" and "Never Say Die". They received wide support from the online audience and the band was broadcasted on Mötley Crüe Nikki Sixx’s radio show Sixx Sense.   The band's 2014 debut album Popscotch, was produced and released by Agualoca Records in 17 countries.  Its lead single, an acoustic pop reinterpretation of "Battery"by Metallica, was an international success, in particular in Germany, where the national television, ARD Das Erste, produced and broadcasted a short TV service on the evening cultural show Titel, Thesen, Temperamente.   After that, the band toured extensively in Europe, gigging in 14 countries.    In July 2015 Driving Mrs. Satan played the Tower at the Waterfall stage on the first night of the Lent Festival in Maribor, Slovenia.   Driving Mrs. Satan's second album "Did You Mrs. Me" will be released in March 2016. The album will be preceded by the single Antisocial, a folk pop version of Trust's classic in the english version by Anthrax
