  • Description

Throughout his career Humphrey Lyttelton was never averse to experimenting with his music – he introduced the saxophone into a traditional jazz band, he did away with the banjo, both quite revolutionary moves in their way but in the early 1950s (the earliest of these tracks was recorded in 1951) it was groundbreaking.
